He stated: “The public rightly expect government to be conducted properly, competently and seriously. I recognise this may be my last ministerial job, but I believe these standards are worth fighting for and that is why I am resigning. My letter to the Prime Minister below.”

Sajid Javid resigned as health secretary, saying the country needs a “strong and principled Conservative party”.
His tweet read: “I have spoken to the Prime Minister to tender my resignation as Secretary of State for Health & Social Care. It has been an enormous privilege to serve in this role, but I regret that I can no longer continue in good conscience.”

Odds are, they will both throw their hats into a leadership contest if their gambit to push Johnson out succeeds.
It is hard to see how either of these politicians can hold up to the values they have just set, they both have shown themselves to be self-serving and ministers of this Kleptocracy government whose corrupt leaders have used their political power to appropriate the wealth of the people. There is no moral high ground in the conservative party for anyone to stand on.
This came immediately after Johnson broadcast his apology over the hiring of Chris Pincher as deputy chief whip.

Following their resignations, several cabinet ministers said they will not be doing so. They include: Justice Secretary Dominic Raab, Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng, Home Secretary Priti Patel, Defence Secretary Ben Wallace Foreign Secretary Liz Truss, Attorney General Suella Braverman and International Trade Secretary Anne-Marie Trevelyan.
The odds are on Johjnson wont last another 24 hours but only time will tell.
