Hayter had been criticising Corbyn over his handling of the anti-Semitism crisis facing the party.
She declared: “That declaiming of intelligence, the refusal to share is absolute symbol of the bunker mentality,” Hayter said.

Baroness Hayter remains the party’s deputy leader in the unelected Lords as that is an elected position.
